MUSICAL PIECES

Solo performance

Musical Pieces revolves around the theatre's mechanism of concealment and revelation, the on and the off, the visible and the invisible. By showing and hiding different objects and the sounds associated with them, the slowly unfolding performance invites spectators to unlink what they see from what they hear, in a gentle activity of intense looking and listening.

Musical Pieces is a show that plays with what cannot be put on show: it proposes that each time something is presented, something else must necessarily be hidden from view.
