Diorama is a contemplative two-screen video work in which a human and an animal swap places and mirror each other’s actions.
On one screen we see a sheep walking around a stage, surrounded by red theatre curtains and lights; on the other screen we find an actor walking around a field, surrounded by trees, grass, and sky. The sheep and the actor perform the same movements in synch with each other: turning their heads to the left, looking down at the floor/grass, walking around the space, and finally exiting the frame of the camera.
